Past geeknic
Geeks took to the park in Dublin, as part of the free as in node picnics for Geeks taking place all over the place this summer in the States, Ireland, and in Europe.
What started off as six people on an overcast day, turned to be 27 people and 2 cute kids in a sunny St.Stephens Green park in Dublin. We had yumy cakes provided by Will Knott who baked cakes for everyone and they went down very well!, so thank you Will! We spent the day relaxing in the sun in the park, munching chatting and mingling with folks and it was very nice for a change to be outdoors instead of a pub! Thanks to all those who came!

You can add your intent to attend over at the main geeknic page, however, if we stick our name down here with a little note of who's bringing what it may make it easier to make sure we don't end up with 300 burgers but no buns! That said, we've just learnt that we may NOT BBQ in the park! Boo :( So bring pre-cooked food please!
