August Bank Holiday Weekend
WHEN: Sunday 2nd August @ 1pm
WHERE : Farmleigh Park, (Next to Pheonix Park, Dublin) [1]
Our blankets will be set up infront of the band stand out behind Farmleigh house next to the man made lake.
WHY: Somewhere different, it is also having a farmers market that day,

RAIN PLAN: I (Jaime) plan to show up anyway if it's not torrential, take an umbrella, we can still enjoy the markets if it's sprinkling and eat some hot goodies from one of the stands. I'm sure the music will still be playing and Pheonix park will be beautiful. But will cut the afternoon shorter and head to a pub until we move onto O'Donaghues.

There is also a shuttlebus that goes from Heuston station to farmleigh [5] -
Shuttle bus times on the Sunday are : 10.00 11.00 12.00 13.00 14.00 15.00 16.00 17.00 18.00
AFTERS:
We're heading to O'Donoghues [6] from 5:30pm onwards ( 15 Merrion row Dublin 2) traditional Irish music to be heard

We had a great turn out at the last Geeknic and it was a change from the pub, so looking forward to seeing people at this event!
